Jamie Boles founded Boles Funeral Homes & Crematory in 1984 after graduating from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. The funeral home operates an on-site crematory, with Jamie Boles serving as a certified crematory operator through the Cremation Association of North America (CANA). He holds a North Carolina funeral service license and is a licensed preneed agent with the NC Board of Funeral Service.
The staff includes Marsha Southers, a Moore County native who serves as general manager and funeral director. Jamie Boles is actively involved in the Southern Pines community as a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Kiwanis, and the local Chamber of Commerce, and has served in the North Carolina House of Representatives representing Moore County since 2008. He also volunteers as an emergency medical technician with the Whispering Pines Fire and Rescue Squad.
