Berryman Funeral Home was established in 1947 by Virgil Berryman and has served families in Cozad, Eustis, Elwood, and surrounding Dawson County communities for over 50 years. In 1983, Jerry and Freddie Tickle purchased the funeral home from the Berryman family. The current facility was built in 1978 in the northeast part of Cozad.
The funeral home features a full-sized chapel with seating for 300 people, covered and climate-controlled parking for immediate family members, and barrier-free access with no stairs. Services include traditional burial, cremation with various service options, tribute videos, keepsake programs, and live streaming for family and friends unable to attend in person. Pre-planning services and grief support resources are also available.
