About Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services
Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services has served Philipsburg and the Moshannon Valley area since 1947, when Walter E. Beezer and John S. Heath founded the business. Ownership passed through several generations of the Heath family, including Robert R. Heath, Margaret Beezer, J. Charles Heath and R. Joel Heath, before Emil L. Johnson, III took over as supervisor in 2016.
Johnson, a licensed funeral director on staff since 1997, now oversees day-to-day operations at the Philipsburg location, which is affiliated with the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in nearby Osceola Mills. The funeral home continues to serve families throughout Centre County, including Clearfield, Coalport, Curwensville, Grassflat and Houtzdale.
