About Anderson-Ragsdale Mortuary
Anderson-Ragsdale Mortuary was established in 1955 as a family-owned institution, though the Ragsdale family had been in the funeral profession since 1889. For 70 years, the mortuary served San Diego and surrounding cities including National City and La Mesa.
The funeral home offered traditional funerals, memorial services, graveside ceremonies, shipping services, and both basic and full-service cremation options. They also provided funeral and cremation pre-planning programs.
As of November 25, 2025, Anderson-Ragsdale Mortuary has closed its doors and is no longer operating.
