Fred Ciavardini

Fred Louis Ciavardini, 62, of Sharon, SC formerly of Brewster, NY son of the late Julius and Christine Ciavardini of Goldens Bridge, NY passed away peacefully at CMC Main on Sunday, March 5th. He is survived by his wife, Linnea, his son, Thomas, of Danbury, CT, a sister, Louise Hartmann, and brother-in-law, Roy, of Goldens Bridge, NY, a sister, Nancy Zabelicky, of Hudson Falls, NY and many cousins, notably Dee Porter, her husband, Alan, and daughter, Brittany, and Susan Beattie, her husband, Michael, and three children Brianne, Alana, and Michael Jr. Fred was the son-in-law of the late Eva and Einer Setterling of Fairfield, CT and brother-in-law of the late Roger Setterling, also of Fairfield, CT.
Fred was employed by Carolina Lift Stations of York, SC. He received a BS in Chemistry from the State University of NY at Fredonia in 1976.
Fred enjoyed freshwater fishing, Dean Koontz novels, woodworking and home improvement projects. He was a very talented "jack of all trades". His personality and knowledge were admired and loved. He will be missed.
A visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Bratton Funeral Home in York from 4 – 6 PM. Dinner will follow the visitation at the family home in Sharon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
