Frank Davis
YORK -- Franklin "Frank" Davis, 72, of 231 Matlock Drive passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at his home in York.
A memorial service will be 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Beersheba Presbyterian Church with Rev. James McGill officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Frank was a son of Cecil and Lilly Davis. He was a member of Beersheba Presbyterian Church and served as an Elder. Frank served 20 years in the US Army, where he served two tours during the Vietnam War in the 82nd Airborne. He later retired from Duke Energy, and was a Master Mason.
He is survived by wife Minnie Latham Davis of York, SC, sons, Larry Davis (Jackie), and Darryl Davis (Linda) both of York, sister Mildred McCloud of Chester, five grandchildren, Ashley, Christeen, Keith, Jarrett, and Olivia Davis all of York, and special fishing buddy Ronnie Roller.
