SHARON -- Frances Wyatt Hartness, 81, of 2282 Highway 97, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014, at her home in Sharon.
The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Audrey Reese officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 6 - 8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York.
Frances was a daughter of the late George Dargan Wyatt and Vera Dover Wyatt. She was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, and was a loving wife, mother, and a devoted grandmother.
She is survived by husband of 63 years John R. Hartness of Sharon, sons Bob Hartness (Debbie) Newberry, Thomas Hartness (Cheryl) of Sharon, John Hartness (Suzy) of Charlotte, daughter Bonnie Alexaner of Sharon, grandchildren, Dianne Hartness, Tommy Hartness, Angeline Robinson (Derrick), Jessica Allred (Davis), Audrey Reese (Ashley), Stephanie Zara (John), Mary Comer, and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by 11 brothers and sisters, Faye Mitchell of York, Mack Wyatt of Smyrna, Jimmy Wyatt of Smyrna, Nancy Teater of Flagler Beach, FL, Dot Earls of Blacksburg, Ann Pursley of York, Barbara Covington of Clover, Kathy Martin of Lancaster, Brenda Roberts of Cumming, GA, Linda Wyatt of York, and Gary Wyatt of York, and special sister in law Hazel Montgomery of Sharon.
