Forrest Lee Hawley, 75, of 7665 Charlotte Hwy. passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be at12:00 P.M. on Saturday October 8, 2016 at Bratton Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas B. McPhail officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Born in Plainview, NC, Forrest was a son of the late Murray B. Hawley and Murlene Moore Hawley. He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired diesel and small engine salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Love Hawley of York, SC, daughter, Leigh Ann Hawley Haertel (Brad) of Atlanta, GA, sister, Margie Adcock (A.D.) of Charlotte, NC, brother, Eugene Hawley (Lexine) of Dunn, NC, sister-in-law, Brenda Hawley, numerous nieces and nephews and
his best friend Buddy. He was preceded in death by this brother Elton Hawley.
