CHESTER -- Fonzo Franklin Knight, Jr., 80, of Chester passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Bratton Funeral Home with Rev. Tom McPhail officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 1 - 2 PM at Bratton Funeral Home.
Fonzo was a son of the late Fonzo Franklin Knight, Sr. and Lillie Blalock Knight. He was a retired fireman with the City of Charlotte, NC, and was a veteran of the US Army and National Guard.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Pence Knight of Chester, son Ben Knight of Iron Station, NC, daughter Rhonda Rea of Rock Hill, SC, and two granddaughters, Samantha Knight, and Carmen Rea.
