About Todd Memorial Chapel
Walter B. Todd founded Todd Memorial Chapel in April 1907 when Pomona was still a village. After his death in 1933, his son John R. Todd assumed management, followed by John's sons Richard K. Todd and John W. Todd along with Lawrence C. Smith in 1947. The funeral home remains independent and family-owned, now in its fifth generation of serving the Pomona Valley.
The funeral home maintains a chapel on-site and serves families of all faiths at any cemetery in the area. Services include traditional funerals with visitation, church ceremonies, graveside services, mausoleum services, cremation, and out-of-state transportation.
