Perry-Spencer Funeral Home was established in May 1953 in Madison by Lee S. Perry Sr., Mary E. Perry, Katherine Perry, and Harris and Catherine Spencer. The firm has served Rockingham County, Stokes County, and surrounding areas for over seventy years.
In 1963, the funeral home expanded to open a second location in Eden to better serve families in that community. Lee S. Perry Jr. became President and CEO when the business incorporated in 1996, continuing the family's leadership into a second generation.
