Benedetto "Benny" Nardolillo founded the family's first funeral home in Providence in 1906 after emigrating from Italy. His brother Angelo Nardolillo Sr. later established the current Cranston location at 1278 Park Avenue in 1954, and the business now operates as a fourth-generation family enterprise with two facilities and an on-site crematory.
The Cranston facility features five visitation rooms across more than 10,000 square feet. Robert A. Nardolillo Sr. and Angelo Nardolillo Jr. joined the business in the mid-20th century, continuing operations after their father's passing in 1980.
Nardolillo Funeral Home has received the Pursuit of Excellence Award multiple times and been inducted into the Hall of Excellence, a recognition given to funeral homes that earn ten Pursuit of Excellence Awards for their commitment to service standards and ethics. The funeral home serves families throughout Rhode Island, including the Narragansett area, with both traditional funeral and cremation services.
