Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home was founded in 1905 by B.J. Karrer and has served Port Huron and the Blue Water area for over a century. The funeral home remains family owned and operated, providing funeral, cremation, and cemetery services.

Thomas K. Simpson, the current manager, holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Xavier University and graduated from Wayne State University's Mortuary Science Program. He is National and State Board Certified and has been in funeral service since 1958. David M. Walsh, a licensed funeral director, graduated from the College of Boca Raton Mortuary Program in 1985 and has been with Karrer-Simpson since 1990.
