Boothby has served families since 1927, while Greenwood-Schubert has been operating since 1953. Matt and Julie Schubert owned and operated Greenwood-Schubert from December 2009 until the recent acquisition, having purchased it from Tim and Patty Greenwood.
The Schuberts continue to operate Cherokee Monument Company at 209 S. Second Street in Cherokee, where they design, sell, install, and service markers and monuments. The funeral home provides tribute video services to create lasting memorial presentations for families.
