BLACKSBURG – Evelyn Darnell Medlin Jackson, 70, of Blacksburg, SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, peacefully at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum, SC.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Rose Hill Cemetery in York, SC, with the Rev. Jeffery Littlejohn officiating.
Evelyn was born on June 31, 1949. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Medlin and Dorothy McManus Scarborough.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Littlejohn Jackson (husband, Rev. Jeffery Littlejohn), Teresa Jackson Goodwin (husband, Jeff Goodwin), sister, Diane Smith, and grandchildren, David Adams “D’Jay”, Cynthia Jackson, Andrew Norris, and Madison Norris.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon “Jimmy” Jackson, step father, Jack Scarborough, sister, Bonnie Pressley, and brother, Arnold Medlin.
