Eleanor Currence Hardin, 76 of York passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Piedmont Medical Center.
A memorial service will be 11AM on Monday, January 15, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church of York with Pastor Wallace Tinsley and Reverend Matt Burrell officiating. The family will receive friends in the Family Life Center at First Presbyterian Church following the service.
Born in York, Eleanor was the daughter of the late David Currence and Lorraine Barrett Currence. She was a Guidance Counselor at York Comprehensive High School, and an Elder and Deacon for First Presbyterian Church.
Eleanor is survived by her husband, William “Bill” L. Hardin, Jr., daughters, Angela Lee Hardin, Allison Hardin Warren, grandson, Danny Warren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her sister, Sally Hays, and her son-n-law, Dan Warren.
Memorials may be made in Eleanor’s name to First Presbyterian Church of York at 10 W. Liberty St. York, SC 29745 or to a charity of one’s choosing.
