Mrs. Elaine C Hendrix of 2699 Sharon Rd, York, SC passed away Monday, April 2, 2018. She was born October 11th 1930 in Hoke County NC.
Visitation will be from 12:30 – 2:00 on Thursday April 5, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Raeford, NC. The funeral will follow with Rev Thomas Lee officiating. Burial will be held at Highland Biblical Gardens.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father Hunter S & Ethel J Carroll, her husband, Wade H. Hendrix Sr., two sisters, Larue C. Brock and Hunter Sue Hagins, and by her grandson John R. Hendrix II.
She is survived by her three sons, Wade H. Hendrix Jr. (wife Patsy), John Riley Hendrix, and Timothy Allen Hendrix (wife Patricia), six grandchildren, David Hendrix, Chad Hendrix, Carrie Miller, Angel Hendrix, Tracii Nichols, Tim Russell, and seven great grandchildren.
She was a devoted wife, wonderful mom and a devoted Christian, who loved and was loved by many. She was blessed and blessed those who knew her, and will be missed greatly.
Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church in Raeford, NC, Kings Mountain Chapel UMC in York, SC or to Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC.
