YORK -- Edward Kenneth Miller, age 56, of 134 Quail Lake Drive went home to be with his Lord and saviour on Sunday, May 19, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Eastview Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Martin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Bratton Funeral Home in York.
Edward was the son of the late Edward Harold Miller and Carole Louise Parrott Wells. He was a devoted and beloved husband and father. He was a fork lift operator with Stanley Black and Decker and was a veteran of the US Army. Edward also served in the Rock Hill National Guard. He was an active member of Eastview Baptist Church where he was a member of the Adult Men's II Sunday School Class.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia Earley Miller of York, SC, a daughter, Victoria Gail Miller of York, SC, two sisters, Suzanne Mintz of Gastonia, NC, and Karen Costner of Kahului, HI.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Wayne T Patrick Hospice House, 2275 India Hook Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
