Edith Jenkins

Edith Joyce Short Jenkins, 75, of 1893 Piedmont Road, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Edith was a daughter of the late JB Short and Mamie Barnes Short.
She is survived by her children; Starr Wray (David) of Blacksburg, Jimmy Jenkins of Blacksburg, Betsy Mullis (Buddy) of Clover, JB Jenkins of Blacksburg, grandchildren; Katie Wray Parrish (Terry), April Lawson Dunlap (Jody), Abby Elizabeth Hicks, Emily Hicks Rose (Chad), Katelynn Marie Mullis, Gabe Jenkins, Madeline Jenkins, Will Mullis, great grandchildren; JT Parrish, Josh Dunlap, Mikayla Dunlap, Anderson Rose, and Raelynn Mullis. In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her daughter Angel Lawson and grandson Robert Wray.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights, Shelby, NC 28150.
