MCCONNELLS – Edith Newton Canipe, 87, of McConnells, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015, peacefully at her home.
There will be a graveside service at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, with Rev. Chip McArthur officiating.
Edith was a daughter of the late Ambrose Newton and Eliza Hoyle Newton.
She is survived by her son, Berry Canipe, daughters, Judy C. Wallace, Phyllis C. Putnam, and Barbara C. Davis, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Edith was predeceased by her husband, Glenn Alfred Canipe, daughter, Glenda Ashe, and grandson, Steven Canipe.
