YORK -- Eddie Louis Lanier, 67, of 1823 Sugar Hill, passed away
Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 1:00 pm on Monday May 20, 2013,at Bratton Funeral Home. Visitation will at Bratton Funeral Home Sunday May 19, 2013, from 6-8 pm. Burial will be at Fredrick Memorial Gardens in Gaffney, SC.
Eddie was a son of the late Levon Lanier and Sara Worthy Lanier, but raised by his grandparents, Jess and Mary Lanier. Eddie was retired from Duke Power and retired from United States Army Reserve as a sergeant. .
He is survived by his wife Barbara "Peanut" Lanier, step sons, Charles Dover, (Vickie), James Dover, (Jackie), Johnny Dover, (Betty), David "Algie" Crocker, sister, Mary Schools, (Bill), brothers, Troy Lanier, Levon Lanier, Avery Lanier, Eric Lanier and Barry Lanier, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
