Ed Workman, Sr.

Edward “Ed” Steele Workman, Sr. 76, of York, SC passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at home and surrounded by his loving family.
Ed was born on September 15, 1944 in York, SC. He was the son of the late Russell Workman and Etta Jane Doster Painter. He served in the National Guard and was a faithful member of Sharon Baptist Church in Sharon, SC.
Ed is survived by his loving wife, Claudia Taylor Workman, children: Eddie Workman, Jr., Tina Kiser (James), Laura Raulerson, Robert Workman, brother, Gene Painter (Beverly), sister, Cathy Lynn (Dennie), six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Workman and sister, Nettie Mae Stewart.
Services will be announced at a later date.
