Dwayne “Pee Wee” Edward Welborn, 55, of York, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 21, 2016, at his home in York. He was born in York, South Carolina to Edward "Pete" Welborn and the late Betty Robinson Welborn.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Bratton Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Williams officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, November 25, 2016 from 1-2:00 PM at Bratton Funeral Home.
Dwayne was always willing to help someone in need, and always had a joke to make you smile. He was full of life and laughter. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Dwayne was very proud of his three daughters, Brittany and Amber Welborn of Sharon, SC, and Candis Sorenson, of Rock Hill, SC. He is also survived by his father, Edward "Pete" Welborn of York, his former wife and friend, Tammy Hines Childs, his two sisters, Libby Smith and husband Jerry of Clover, and Teresa Parker and husband Dean of Young Harris, GA, his two brothers, Bobby Welborn and wife Carol Ann of Hickory Grove, SC and Gerald Welborn and wife Rhonda of York, SC, as well as his two grandchildren and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other friends.
