Duane Clay
YORK -- Duane Andrew Clay, 67, of 302 Roberts Ave. passed away Thursday, April 02, 2015, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Bratton Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Burrell officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, April 3, 2015 from 2-4 P.M. at Bratton Funeral Home.
Duane was a son of Andrew P. Clay and Resilvia Simpson Clay. He retired from York County Sherriffs Office. He also served as a police officer for York, Tega Cay,Winthrop and Clover. Clay served in the United States Army, served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam.
Duane is survived by his wife, Dale Sexton Clay of York, SC, 4 daughters, Angela Thompson (Frank), Angela Marie Toma, (Dan), Marcia Rabon (Keith), Glenda Via (Mike) 2 sons, Michael Clay (Jennifer), Andy Clay, sisters, Donna Capuano (Ted), Sherri Higgins, 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
