Doug Moton
CLOVER -- Douglas "Doug" Franklin Moton, 78, of 2750 Moton Road died Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at Brian Health and Rehabilitation in Charlotte.
The funeral will be at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Oak View Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, NC, with Rev. Richard Brown and Rev. Billy Cooper officiating. Burial will be at Oakdale Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Clover. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Bratton Funeral Home in York.
Doug was a son of the late Ilise Moton. He was a member of Oak View Baptist Church, was owner of M and M Fabric, and was a Shriner for 51 years. Doug also served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Ruby Lewis Moton of Clover, SC, son Timothy Cashion of Clover, SC, daughter Gail Pruett of Clover, SC, brother John Cain of Matthews, NC, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
