Dorothy “Dottie” Gertrude Tracy Pittsinger, 97, of Clover, SC passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021.
Dottie was born on December 15, 1933 in Hamden County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of the late Lester Tracy and Agnes Champagne Tracy. She enjoyed spending her time making quilts and proudly working in her gardens. She worked for SunSenital News and after many years retired from there.
Dottie is survived by her children: Beverly Decile, Patricia Hurst (John), Barbara Cianci, Scott Pittsinger, Donald LaBonte (Karen), Joy Pouilot (Steve), and Todd Pittsinger, daughter in law, Carol Pittsinger, sisters, Nancy Perrault, Maryland Eckstine nineteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Dottie was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest LaBonte, previous husband, Arthur Pittsinger, Sr., sons, Arthur Pittsinger, Jr., Charles Pittsinger, brother, Dick Tracy, and sister Carolyn Brewster.
In memory of Dottie Pittsinger, memorials may be made to Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, 6500 S. New Hope Rd Belmont, NC 28012.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
