Dorothy Harper Adkins, 76, of Rock Hill, SC passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 peacefully at her home.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM at Union Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 with the Reverend Mark Dellinger officiating.
Born in York, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Edward Matthew Harper and Vergie Huggins Harper. She was a retired nurse for Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Adkins, sisters; Libby H. Linley, Peggy Wells, Cathy H. Cole, and Louise H. Moss, brothers, Tommy Harper and Andy Harper, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and her faithful companion, Phil Littlefield.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Adkins and her brother, Jerry Harper.
