YORK -- Donald "Don" Monroe Sibley, 82, of 6359 Old York Road died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at his home in York.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Bratton Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Slawson officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 6 - 8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York.
Don was a son of the late Donald McFadden Sibley and Florence Leslie Oates Sibley. He was retired after working at Celanese, BASF, and York County. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Rock Hill, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by wife Rosie Smith Sibley of York, SC, son Michael Sibley (Jenna) of York, SC, step son Donnie Johnson (Denice) of York, SC, step daughters, Sandi Johnson (Greg) of York, SC, and Donna Shively of York, SC, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
