Remembering Dollie
Homegoing Service for Mother Dollie L. Baker will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 at
12:00 Noon in the Millville Baptist Church, Montrose , Ga. The Rev. Matthew Watkins will officiate
and interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Ms. Dollie L. Baker, age 98, of Melbourne, Florida, departed this life on November 22, 2017, in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Leroy and Roxie Watkins.
Ms. Baker was a member of Greater Faith Temple, of Melbourne, Florida. There she served as church mother for many years. She was also a member of Millville Baptist Church where she joined at an early age.
Ms. Baker was the mother of two daughters; Evelene Gonder of Melbourne, Florida, and Alvester Williams (Deceased)
Ms. Baker is survived by Evelene Gonder, Melbourne, Florida. John F. Williams, devoted son-in-law, Jackson, Georgia. Two (2) sisters, Annie Rogers, and Jessie Stephens, Montrose, Georgia. Brother Malcolm and a devoted sister-in-law Yvonne Watkins. Ester Bell Watkins, Sister-in-law, Dublin, Georgia. Three (3) Grandchildren; Sonya Spruill (Eddie), Anthony Williams (Quila), and Richard Gonder (Keisha). She also has six (6) Great-Grandchildren, and a host of Nephews, Nieces, and cousins.
Mother Baker will be placed in the church one hour prior to the services.
Friends are being received at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Malcolm and
Yvonne Watkins, 741 Isaac-Watkins Road, Montrose, Georgia.
