HICKORY GROVE – Denver Parker, 76, of Hickory Grove, SC passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.
The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Mt. Vernon UMC in Hickory Grove, SC. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Mt Vernon UMC with the Reverend Harold Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Denver was born on April 23, 1945 in Hickory Grove, SC. He was the son of the late Lester Parker and Martha Ann Martin Parker and the widower of Nellie Jackson Parker. He was a member of Shelby Presbyterian Church and was a veteran of the US ARMY.
Denver is survived by his son, Den Parker and his wife Tracie, and his siblings: Annell, Bonnie, Billy, Edna, Amos, Ruth, Amy, Johnny, and Sam.
In addition to his parents and wife, Denver was preceded in death by his brother, Joe and sisters, Mildred and Maryann.
