Dennis Lee Jones, 70, of 595 Hunters Quest Road, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 at his home in McConnells.
The funeral will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Carey Caldwell officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 3 – 5 PM at Bratton Funeral Home.
Dennis was the son of the late Charlie L. Jones and Frances Godfrey Jones. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, a member of Philanthropic Masonic Lodge #32, and a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Womble Jones, two daughters, Nikki Jones Carroll (Ben) and Christy Gibson, and two sons, Daniel Payne (Shirley) and Billy Payne.
The family would like to give thanks to Providence Hospice Care for the wonderful care that they gave and a special thank you to Tammy, Lola, and Marcia for their beloved support they showed our family during this difficult time.
