Dean Darty YORK Harold Dean Darty, 75, of York died Tuesday, May 08, 2012, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church in Rock Hill. The Revs. Roger Shuford, Tony Slawson and Reggie Hopkins will be officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park- Hollis Lakes. Visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 2-3 PM. Dean was a son of the late A.W. Darty and Mary Bumgardner Darty Finney. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, was a pipe fitter with Daniel Construction and co-owned Darty and Son Produce. He is survived by his wife, Linda Robertson Darty of York, SC, two daughters, Robin D. Hinson and Sandra D. Nelson both of York, SC, son, William Darty of Greenville, NC, nine grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brother, Alvin Lee Darty, daughter, Deborah Darty and grandson, William Dean Brakefield Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, P O Box 11650, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
