SHARON -- David Brown Johnson, 75, of 3800 Sherer Rd. passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday December 1, 2015, at Sharon Baptist Church with Dr. Samuel Murphy officiating. Burial will be at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.The family will recieve friends following the service in the Family Life Center.
David was a son of the late George T. Johnson and Martha Ford Johnson. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church, and was retired from Duke Power. David served in the United States Army. .
He is survived by his wife,Patricia Johnson, son, Greg Johnson, 2 brothers, George Johnson (Sara), Ira Johnson (Rita), sister, Rachel Germer, and numerous, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Katie Culp, and his, brother, Horace Johnson.
