David Deas

David Wayne Deas, 61, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
A memorial service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Filbert Presbyterian Church in America with Rev. Dave Hall officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
David was a son of the late William Deas and Catherine Strait Deas. He was a member of Filbert Presbyterian Church in America and he worked in the engineering department at Duke Energy for 34 years. He was a loving husband of 33 years and a caring father.
He is survived by his wife, Janette Linn Deas of York, SC, son, Brandon David Deas (Ruthie) of York, SC, daughter, Laura Kathleen Deas of York, SC, and brother, Tom Deas (Trisha) of Murrels Inlet, SC.
