Darvin Leon Peterson YORK Darvin Leon Peterson, 71, of 221 Blackburn Street died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at his home in York. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Christian Fellowship House of Prayer, 1552 Filbert Hwy, York, with the Revs. Sid Shuford and Chuck Wallace officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Christian Fellowship House of Prayer, Monday, March 19, 2012, from 6 - 8 PM. Mr. Peterson was a son of the late John and Bessie Ricketts Peterson. He was a member of Christian Fellowship House of Prayer in York, where he served as a deacon, and was a retired supervisor at The Republic Textile Company. He is survived by wife Brenda Wallace Peterson, two sons, Leon Peterson, Randy Peterson, brother Kenneth Peterson, all of York, and two grandchildren.
