YORK -- Daniel "Dan" Ray Lawson, Sr., 83, of 3017 Dr. Nichols Road died Friday, June 13, 2014, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, June 16, 2014 at Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church wtih Rev. Neill McKay officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 1 - 2 PM at Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church.
Dan was a son of the late Owen and Haley Lawrence Lawson. He was a member of Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church, was a veteran of the United States Airforce, and was a retired electrician. .
He is survived by wife Wanda Boston of York, SC, son Daniel Ray Lawson, Jr. of Clarmont, NC, step daughter Elizabeth Lail of York, SC, brothers, Larry Lawson, Tommy Lawson, two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by two sisters.
