Dale Carroll Gardner, 92, passed away on July 1, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Gaston Christian Church with Rev. Scott Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 – 1 PM at the church.
Born February 11, 1925, Dale was a son of the late Ralph Gardner and Bessie Mae Jarvis Gardner. He was a retired carpenter and minister. He was a member of Gaston Christian Church and was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jane Riddile Gardner, children, Carolyn West (Don), Julie Clouse, Ralph Gardner, Mayme Long (Keith), son-in-law Steve McDonald, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by daughter Joyce Gardner McDonald, son-in-law Gary Clouse, and two sisters.
