SMYRNA -- Dale Burrell, 66, of 1109 McGill Road died Friday, April 25, 2014, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.
The funeral will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Bratton Funeral Home with Dr. Elwood Seamster, Rev. David Wood, and Rev. Ted Tuggle officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 1 - 2 PM at Bratton Funeral Home.
Dale was a son of the late Clare Robert Burrell and Winnie Stafford Burrell. He was a retired minister and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Pell City, AL.
He is survived by wife Lois Terwilliger Burrell of Smyrna, SC, five children, Barry Burrell of Spotsylvania, VA, Jennifer B Kendall of Spotsylvania, VA, Brian Burrell of York, SC, Carolyn B Starkey of Norwich, CT, Jason Gormally of San Diego, CA, five brothers, Marvin Burrell of Spotsylvania, VA, Howard Burrell of York, SC, Kevin Burrell of Salisbury, NC, Bryan Burrell of Salisbury, NC, and Dywane Burrell of Salisbury, NC, 10 granddaughters, and one great grandson.
