Curly Daniel Cannon

Home-Going graveside Celebration for the Life Services of Mr. Curly Daniel Cannon will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11:00 A. M. in the Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1780 Gumlog Road, Wrightsville, Ga. The Rev. Jerry Walden will officiate and the interment will follow. Mr. Curly Daniel Cannon was born on February 7, 1962 to the late B. C. Cannon and Minnie Lee Collins Cannon. He was an active member of the Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Dock Kemp School, he worked on the farm of Leonard Powell, Jr. for many years until he became disable. He loved his family and always loved to laugh and make others laugh. On Thursday, January 20, 2022, Mr. Curly D. Cannon was called home by the heavenly angels. His laugh and sense of humor will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his afore mention parents, brothers, Eugene Lawson, Wilbur Cannon, Sr., Freeman Cannon, Sr., Leon Cannon, one sister, Katie M. Scott, aunts, Nora Gordon, Mattie Jordon, uncles, Adam Wise and James Gordon, Sr., nephew, Augustus Sanders, Jr., cousin, Preston Sherman and brother-in-law, Glen Moses. He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memories a devoted nephew, Dwayne (Priscilla) Cannon, Dublin, Ga., Sisters, Mary White and Minnie P. Cannon, East Dublin, Ga., Jerlean Strickland, Wrightsville, Ga., Patricia Moses, Augusta, Ga., Eva Mae Jackson, Canton, Ohio., brothers, Ernest (Eva) Cannon and Earl Cannon, Tennille, Ga. Caregivers, Felicia Gillis, Tabitha Nations and Mary Cannon, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends . Friends are being received at the family residence.
