GASTONIA – Charles Edward Henderson, Sr., 90, of Gastonia, NC, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC.
Charles was born on February 4, 1930 in Black Mountain, NC. He was the son of the late Samuel Lawrence Henderson and Blanche Reese Henderson. He was the widower of Bonnie Cranfill Henderson. Charles retired from Western Electric Co. and was a veteran in the US NAVY.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Jeannie Neely (Gordon), son, Charles E. Henderson, Jr., grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Branch.
