Charles Frank Dorsett, Sr., 60, of York, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2017 at his home.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Bratton Funeral Home at 12 noon with Reverend Eric Ayers officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York. The family will receive friends at Bratton Funeral Home on Monday, July 10, 2017 from 6-8 PM.
Charles was a son of the late Robert Daniel Dorsett and Annie Robinson Dorsett. He was a former employee at Duke Power and the owner and operator of Expert Tree Service for the past 40 years.
Charles is survived by his wife, Louise Painter Dorsett, daughters, Wendy Dorsett, Amanda Dorsett Deas, brothers, Robert Dorsett, John Dorsett, Phillip Dorsett, sisters, Marian Burbauch, Betty Allen, Diane Randal, Vera Wilson, five grandchildren, Zachery Dorsett, Jasmine Smith, Anthony Painter, Dalton Deas, Jaidyn Painter, and a first expected great granddaughter, Indigo Dorsett.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his son, who met him with open arms at Heaven’s gate, Charles F. Dorsett, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Louise Dorsett at 465 Brushwood Dr. York, SC 29745.
