Carrol Reid "Mac" McGee, 79, of Clover passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Bratton Funeral Home in York. The family will receive friends at Bratton Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 1-2 PM. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Carrol McGee was a son of the late John Henry McGee and Addie Branch McGee. Mac was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He retired as a Master Mechanic from Ryder, loved shooting as a sport and hunting, he loved fishing and invited others to enjoy his pond that he built. Mac had a green thumb and produced gardens that supplied family and friends. He volunteered as a State Constable for a while before fully retiring to be at home with families.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine Coleman McGee, two sons, Victor McGee (Denise), Jeffrey McGee, (Judy), daughter Kelly Wilkerson (Billy), granddaughters, Amanda (Ryan), Janda (Omar), Gabriella, Carolyn, grandsons, Robert, Andrew, Matthew (Tracie), Joshua, Will, great grandchildren, Xavier, Leeona, Michael and Logan, and brother, Jim McGee (Linda). In addition to his parents, Mac was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rosalee.
