Carolyn Dietz Hines, 78, of York, SC, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Clover First Freewill Baptist Church in Clover, SC. with Rev. Phil Lemmons and Rev. Marvin Carson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the church. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC.
Carolyn was born on July 30, 1942 in Gastonia, NC. She was the daughter of the late George Dietz and Vetter Black Dietz. She was a member of Clover Church of the Nazarene in Clover, SC.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, James H. Hines, children, Nancy Eaton (John), Dottie Sipe (Donnie), Billy Poteat (Julia), Joey Stewart (Lisa), Wanda Stewart, Donna Maloney (Leon), step children, Tammy Childs (Mike), Sandra Ellis (Phillip), sisters, Susie Dover, Eunice Gordon, seventeen grandchildren and forty great grandchildren.
CDC protocols will be recommended.
