Carol B. Moody
YORK -- Carol Burch Moody, 88, formerly of York, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert Dunn officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 1-2 P.M. at Trinity United Methodist Church Parlor.
Carol was a daughter of the late Burland Jackson Burch and Mary Alexander Burch. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She graduated from Mt. Croghan High School in 1942 and she attended Winthrop College where she received a Associates in 1944 and then she received her Bachelors degree in 1965 from Winthrop College.
She is survived by her brothers Mr. and Mrs. William Robert Burch of Indian Trail, N.C., Mr and Mrs. Joseph Henry Burch of Florence, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. James Davidson Burch of York SC. and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by 2 brothers Burland Jackson Burch, Lynn Rhyne Burch and sister Anadell Burch.
