Remembering Bobbie

A graveside Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Bobbie J. Guyton will be held Tuesday, July 26 2022 in the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 679 Shady Grove Baptist Church Road Dudley, Georgia at 11:00 A. M. Apostle James Bell will officiate and the interment will follow. Bobbie Jean Wright Guyton was born on August 9, 1943, to her parents, the late Flanders and Gladys Stephens Wright, in Laurens County, Georgia. She was one of eight children. She departed this life on July 13, 2022, at the age of 78. Bobbie Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Guyton, son Kenneth Guyton, siblings: Sheldine Wright, John L. Wright, and Annie Ruth Pauldo; mother-in-law: Annie Pittman; father-in-law: Richard Pauldo; sisters-in-law: Juanita McGriff, Izora Pauldo, and Cynthia Wright; and brothers-in-law: Aaron Pauldo and Jimmy Pauldo. Bobbie Jean was educated in the Laurens County School System. She received her LPN certification in Elmira, New York. After relocating to Detroit, Michigan, she began a career at Chrysler Motor Company where she worked faithfully until she retired. In her later years, she took up residence in Indianapolis, Indiana where she remained until her death. Bobbie Jean leaves to cherish her loving memories her children: Michael (Lisa) Guyton of St. Charles, Michigan, Danielle Hoodak of Elmira, New York, Anthony Kellam of Dublin, Georgia, and Tiffany Guyton-King of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren: Candace Guyton of Detroit, Michigan, Keenan Guyton of Atlanta, Georgia, Michael King, Travis King, Alex King and Emma King of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Makenna Stephens of St. Charles, Michigan; great grandchildren: Kingston Pendergraft and London Pendergraft of Detroit, Michigan, Aniya King, Kevari King, and Kynd King of Indianapolis, Indiana; siblings: Betty (Walter) Thomas and Kathleen Coney of Detroit, Michigan, Edna (Willie) Pauldo and Jestine (Charlie) Evans of Dublin, Georgia; sisters-in-law: Leatha (Eddie) White of Miramar, Florida, Doris Bell of Dublin, Georgia, and Ruthie Mae Thomas of Springfield, Massachusetts; brothers-in-law: C.D. Pauldo and Prentice Pauldo of Dublin, Georgia, and Clarence (Barbara) Glover of Miami, Florida; sisters-in-love: Ruby Mitchell of Dublin, Georgia and Wynoma Hollins of Jacksonville, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
