Bob Childress CLOVER Robert "Bob" Childress, 67, of 2600 Filbert Hwy died Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Wallace Tinsley officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. Bob attended Filbert Presbyterian Church in America, and was a veteran of the US Army. Bob was a mason and shriner, he was raised at the Blue Ridge Lodge 92. He was also a member of Alpine Lodge 208, and a member of the Eastern Star Clover 138. Bob was a member of the York Rite Mackey Chapter #8, Absolom Cody Chapter #15, and Rock Hill Commandery #15, and was a member of the York Crescent Shrine Club, where he served as treasurer. He was also a member of American Legion Post 66, and was a member of the Rock Hill Military Order of the Purple Heart. Bob is survived by daughter, Katie Childress of Clover, son Anthony Childress of St. Petersburg, FL, and sister Sandra McSwain of Rockwell, NC.
