Betty Gibson Williams, 91, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at White Oak Manor in York.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Clover A.R.P. Church with Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery in Clover.
Betty was a daughter of the late Charles Newton Gibson and Jessie Borders Gibson. She was a member of Clover A.R.P. Church and was the widow of Robert Odell Williams.
She is survived by her son Michael Anthony (Hilda), step children, David Williams (Susan), Faye Smith, grandchildren, Karen Tucker (Jerry), Kristen Gordon (Bryan), and three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her siblings, Marshall Gibson, Tom Gibson, George Gibson, Frances Williams, and Lois Clary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clover A.R.P. Church, 127 Kings Mountain Street, Clover, SC 29710 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4124 Clemson Blvd, Anderson, SC 29621.
