Betty Burgess Ferguson, 88, of York, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017, at White Oak Manor in York.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church in Sharon, with Rev. Sam Roberson and Rev. Barry Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 6-8 PM.
Betty was a daughter of the late John and Effie Brakefield Burgess. She was the widow of Leroy Ferguson and worked as a homemaker. Betty was also a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church where she was treasurer for circle #1.
Betty is survived by three daughters, Jean Ferguson, Christine "Teenie" McKinney (Bill), Agnes Mackey (Brent), sister, Mary Fulbright, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one step-grandson and two step-great-grandchildren.
