ROCK HILL -- Barbara A. Smith, 83, formerly of York died Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Westminster Health and Rehab in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Westminster Towers Wellness Extention with the Rev. Tom McPhail officiating.
Barbara was a daughter of the late Louis and Dorothy Salter D'Heron. She was the widow of Walter Earl Smith, and a member of Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by son Jeff Smith of York, SC, daughter, Dale Ensminger of Onley, MD, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Smith Skeels.
Memorials may be made to Kids First of the Carolinas, PO Box 77936, Charlotte, NC 28271, which supplies Christmas for approxamitly 800 children in our local area that would not have a Christmas, or to the American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Road, Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210.
