Barbara Parrish CLOVER, SC – Mrs. Barbara Cloninger Parrish, 77, of Clover, SC went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 3, 2013. She was born in Dallas, NC on August 10, 1935, daughter to the late Tollie and Beaulah Cloninger. She was preceded in death by her brother Tollie R. Cloninger and her son, Timothy R. Edison. She worked at Threads, Inc. and SC Park and Tourism, and attended Bowling Green Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Robert F. Parrish; three sons, Steven R. Edison and wife, Donna of Easley, SC, Gary N. Edison and wife, Cheryl of Dallas, NC, and John C. Edison of Dallas, NC; two sisters, JoAnn Estes and husband William “Bill” of Mount Holly, NC, and Mary Sue Ferguson of Dallas, NC; six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th Floor, New York, New York, 10001, or Gaston Hospice, PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
